Suffolk’s Career Services is presenting a series of virtual career preparation workshops in March and April to help students navigate the first steps in their professions.

Mikayla Gerstein is an early childhood education major graduating this semester and plans to attend the “College to Career” workshop on March 30.

“I worry about not being able to get a job after I’m done with school, or just not being good enough to be a teacher in general,” Gerstein said. “I’m hoping the workshop will give me more confidence and some advice about my next steps after graduation.”

“College to Career” is one of four virtual career preparation workshops available to Suffolk students. Other workshop topics include how to polish up your resume’s cover letter, advice on networking and career choices.
