Alexandra McDonald is a journalism student at Suffolk County Community College and the Editor-in-Chief of Compass News. She grew up in Port Jefferson Station and hopes to go to college in New York City.

Her original passion for writing creatively transpired over the pandemic into news writing, but she still enjoys fictional writing and poetry.
