The supergroup Boygenius, composed of Phoebe Bridgers, Lucy Dacus and Julian Baker, appear to be making a return after the 2023 Coachella lineup was revealed on Jan. 10.

The group is sceduled to play the two weekends of the festival on both Saturday April 15 and 22.

Throughout 2021 and 2022 the members were making guest appearances on eachothers solo tours, but outside of one charity performance on Nov. 19, 2021 in San Francisco, this will be the second time all three members are playing together since their initial 2018 tour.

After releasing their critically acclaimed self-titled EP in 2018, which was followed by a short tour, the members of the group moved on to work on their solo careers. Bridgers released her sophomore album Punisher in June 2020, which received three Grammy nominations, Baker released her album Little Oblivions in Feb. 2021, and Dacus released Home Video in June 2021.

With each individual member’s solo career taking off in the last few years, the anticipation for new material has been growing.

This announcement shows a busy start to the year for Bridgers who in Febuary will be touring Singapore and Japan, and the month after the festival she is set to open for Taylor Swift on her Eras Tour in May.
